CREATIO CONTINUA IN JÜRGEN MOLTMANN'S THEOLOGY OF CREATION Summary The given study attempts to reconstruct the insight into the doctrine of creatio continua according to Jürgen Moltmann's intuitions. As he claims, the idea of continuous creation - in order to be properly exposed - requires two approaches. Firstly, the traditional meaning of the given concept needs to be reminded; secondly, a holistic point of view, that includes the pneumatological and eschatological aspects, should be emphasised. SUMMARY Joachim of Fiore developed a vision of the whole of history, with a strongly eschatological orientation, based on the doctrine of the Trinity and divided into three successive eras: the age of the Father, that of the Son, and the final, spiritually perfect, age of the Spirit. Some contemporary theologians are influenced by this original theology and also critique it. H. de Lubac comes to a negative judgement on Joachim's vision because it undermines the truth about Christological fulfilment. H. U. von Balthasar appreciates the basic intuition of the Calabrian abbot, while seeking to put right what is distored in it by underlining the permanent work of the Holy Spirit in the Church. J. Moltmann appropriates Joachim's Trinitarian schema, but refuses to see the three aspects as three successive stages. Le ragioni addotte per giustificare l'assunto sarebbero riconducibili a diversi fattori filosofici e teologici. Capofila di tale posizione è il teologo riformato Jürgen Moltmann. Con la sua teologia trinitaria della croce, assumendo e reinterpretando alcuni concetti della teologia ebraica, egli ha notevolmente contribuito a divulgare l'idea di un Dio che prova lacerazione al suo interno, fino ad inglobare tutte le sofferenze del mondo. Le sue posizioni suscitano anche alcune perplessità, sopratutto nell'ambito cristologico e trinitario.
